HELP IS WITHIN YOUR REACH!
Alopecia Angel is dedicated to those seeking a holistic, natural, and safe approach to healing Alopecia from the inside out! The main force behind Alopecia Angel is a deep desire to help individuals achieve what I achieved with a natural treatment option, a well-rounded approach to health, wellness, and reversing Alopecia naturally without antibiotics, pharmaceuticals, cortisone shots to the head, or embarrassing creams.
After seeing results with my multi-tiered natural Alopecia treatment, targeting mind, body, nutrition, environment, and other elements, I decided I wanted to share my findings and let others know that a natural, safe, and holistic method does in fact exist to regrow hair from alopecia.
TRANSCRIPT
Hello, and welcome back to the Alopecia Angel Podcast. I’m your host, Johanna Dahlman. I’m very excited to meet with you today because today’s podcast is all about the things that you shouldn’t be doing or taking while on the program and then also what would be considered contraindication. So we’re gonna go over that in a second. The Hair N’ Heal program just wrapped up its final opening for the year. And you won’t be able to join until next year, but you can always get on the wait list for the Hair N’ Heal program, and you can do that at alopeciaangel.com.
But before we get into today’s episode, I wanted to update you a little bit. Yesterday I had a call with Emma. Emma was showcased on the podcast earlier, maybe last year or so, or maybe even before then. She is a cancer survivor, thyroid cancer survivor. She got alopecia areata later in life and then she healed and recovered completely. I spoke to her yesterday, it’s been 3 years that she’s done the program and she still has a full head of hair and she still is thriving and she still has beautiful density coverage and everything, and alopecia has not come back.
And so I wanted to share that news with you because more and more, not only are we going to be showcasing, people healing, of course. But then also years, after post alopecia and how they continue to thrive. And that’s what this is all about. This is not just about healing and going back to your day to day. This is going about healing and being better than who you were before, being better than where you were before. I was actually just talking to somebody today and I was telling them that I already thought at the time I was diagnosed, that I was at my peak, that I was at my fittest, that I was at my healthiest, that I was at my best, I was in my 30s and felt like I had stuck a flag down and I was on top of the world. And in many ways, I was on top of the world. However, this world evolved and transformed me alopecia transformed me and forced me to level up.
And I can tell you now, as someone approaching 45, I’m so much better for it now, and I’m so much better now than when I was in my 30s. I’m so much healthier now than when I was in my thirties, and now I see the true difference of what healthy really means. I now I see the difference of what it really, truly means to thrive, to be free, to have peace of mind, to have full control now. I know, and it’s almost like giving birth. You don’t know until you actually go through it. You don’t know until you actually have gone through that pain, whether it was 14 hours, 3 days, 48 hours, 5 days or whatever the case or a C-section, you don’t know until you’ve actually gone through it.
So it’s one of those things where I know you can heal. It’s not about if, it’s about when you heal, when you take action, when you support yourself according to what you need. That’s when we start healing. So I wanted to showcase her, but I also wanted to showcase and applaud Stephanie, who is in Germany, she has 3 autoimmune diseases. She’s alopecia Universalis and in week 3, she already started seeing hair growth on her eyebrows, eyelashes, and her head. I’m just so excited for where she is headed because her body’s healing. And it doesn’t matter where you are in life, what you have, if you have 2 or 3 autoimmune diseases, if you have 2, 3, 4 health goals or health issues that are concerning to you. It doesn’t matter whether you’re a previous cancer survivor or have cancer currently, you can always start the healing process, and it’s really about taking out the misinformation and focusing on a path that’s tailored to you.
So really excited for all of you who have joined here recently, the Hair N’ Heal Program. Congratulations. I can’t wait to showcase your successes and your progress. Today’s episode is really about the contraindications or the things that are not in your best interest when doing the program or even when working with me. I’ll go through this step by step.
So first off, we have JAK inhibitors. I don’t recommend JAK inhibitors at all. If you are on them, you shouldn’t be on them. And if you’re on them and you wanna do the program, I’m gonna request that you come off of them. Just so we’re very clear and transparent. JAK inhibitors are not helping your cause, and just like anything, they’re actually suppressing your immune system. Many of them, if not all, have a black box warning, meaning they’re carcinogenic. They’re also extremely expensive, even if health insurance covers it and at the same time, at the end of it, it’s gonna backfire. So it’s not worth the time, money, or resources for you to be on JAK inhibitors. You should probably come off before starting the program or at the same time, I can tell you how to go about doing this. But being on JAK inhibitors long-term is not in your best interest and it’s not gonna move the needle for hair growth. At some point, your body’s just going to give up and push back. That’s what that’s all about.
That second thing I would say is, anything topical, for example, steroid creams or minoxidil or serums, lotions, potions, even if it’s oral minoxidil or just topical minoxidil or topical steroids or instead of just oral or what have you, it doesn’t matter. All of those things are not working, and I would always recommend that you come off and you stay off. Because it’s contraindication to the program. The program is holistic, it’s natural, so it wants to boost your own immune system. It wants to boost your own healing capabilities and possibilities. It wants you to thrive. We just need to support it. But if we’re adding things that are contraindicated, then it’s working against you. Does that make sense?
So just like when you’re pregnant, you can’t be taking certain medications. You can’t be eating certain foods, you can’t be doing certain things because you’re pregnant, because guess what? The baby is more important than the other. In this case, the hair is more important than the other, and that’s how this is determined. And so again, it’s not
in your best interest to be on Minoxidil and do the program or JAK inhibitors and do the program, or any of these topicals, serums, lotions, potions. Because it’s not moving the needle. It’s not gonna help it. It’s not ’cause gonna support it. It’s not gonna encourage it. I just spoke with somebody who’s been on Minoxidil for 20 years and she’s so scared about coming off, but she knows she has to. She’s given Minoxidil 20 years of opportunity to do something and it hasn’t done anything. So let’s get off, let’s try something new. Let’s reap the rewards and the benefits of healing naturally and holistically.
So the third thing would be. Nutrafol ,Viviscal or any hair, nail supplements. Now, why Nutrafol, Viviscal Vegamour, hair nail and skin supplements? Many reasons why. First, they have multiple ingredients there that potentially are backfiring on you in your situation personally. Second of all, the one size fits all supplements I don’t like and I don’t recommend. Nutrafol in particular, I showcased this a while back on my social media, but Women’s Health Magazine came out with an article saying that Nutrafol had caused liver damage to one of the participants who was taking it. She was actually 26 years old. I have this, screenshot of the magazine article that I will share again on social media. This was a big deal because this is the only time that I’ve heard of something truly devastating side effect wise from Nutrafol. Does it work for everybody? No, it doesn’t, just like Minoxidil.
It doesn’t work for everybody. Just like JAK inhibitors, it doesn’t work for everybody. Why? because none of these things are tailored to you, to your situation, to your root causes, to your triggers, to you, and that’s what’s needed. So you’re just, again, wasting more time, resources, and energy towards something that’s not doing anything. And really, once we start working together inside the Hair N’ Heal program, you’ll start to see and understand exactly the method and the tools and techniques that go into healing your hair loss once and for all, so that you can start seeing hair growth sooner rather than later, regardless of the 2-3 autoimmune diseases you have, regardless of the diabetes or of the high blood pressure, or of the pregnancy or the breastfeeding, or any life situation that you’re in. It doesn’t matter.
There’s always a way to tailor this so that you can heal and you can also protect, let’s say, the milk that you wanna provide for your baby or the future baby, or the pregnancy that you wanna have, or the menopause that you want to go through seamlessly or anything else. So these 3 things are automatic nos when working with me. No to Minoxidil. No to the serums. No to the one hair skin, nails, supplements. No to the Nutrafol to the Viviscal, to the JAK inhibitors and to really any medications for hair loss. Any medications for hair loss, all these things are doing you a disservice and I don’t recommend them.
So I wanted to have this episode and to share with you openly what wouldn’t help you when doing the program, because none of these things will help you. So holding onto them is like a bandaid or like a a stuffy as my 4-year-old says, as like a little bear or a little stuffed animal that’s giving you some sort of comfort, but it’s false comfort. It’s a false sense of security, and we’ve been sold on this marketing ploy from the beauty
industry, that it’s always one thing or the weight loss industry, that it’s always just one thing. And lo and behold, this one thing has side effects, this one thing has detrimental repercussions, this one thing is not solving the problem. And if it does, it might backfire at some point too. I actually was just reading the other day and hearing how GLP-1 medications are causing blindness in people. So for those of you considering, or on GLP-1 medications for weight loss, this is happening in other people where they are finding themselves to be blind.
Waking up blind, going blind automatically. Is it temporary? I don’t know. Is it forever? I don’t know. But these are some of the hidden costs of working and dealing with medications that, or solutions that can be resolved in a natural way. We can naturally lose weight, but we’re a society that wants things now. Now we want the elevator up or the escalator when really we need to be taking step by step, hoofing it all the way up to Mount Everest, whatever that Mount Everest is. For me, alopecia was my Mount Everest. And in many ways, because I hoofed it myself all the way up now, 9 years post alopecia, it’s never coming back and I can guarantee that.
Had I taken the elevator or had I taken the. The escalator, potentially the results weren’t gonna be the same, or maybe worse, I would’ve been worse off. However, there’s always an opportunity to heal. There’s always an opportunity for natural healing, and truly, this is your only way. It’s your best bet.
So if you have any questions, concerns, let me know. But just to recap, the Minoxidil, the JAK inhibitors, lotions, potions, and serums. Your hair, skin nail supplements, and anything else that’s a one and done or a one and all for hair loss in a bottle, I don’t recommend. You’re just gonna have to let it go if you’re gonna wanna start to work with me. So get inspired, look at the success stories on my website, we have the before and after pictures, we have testimonials, we have interviews with clients, and so much more. I look forward to talking to you next time. Thank you, take care.
