Hello, welcome back, everybody. Welcome back to the Alopecia Angel podcast, I'm your host, Johanna Dahlman and today we are going to be answering this question to an Instagram question box that I had on one of my live stories and a lady had posted:

Hey, can you share some food tips with us in regards to healing alopecia? And this is a great question because let me just share a little bit from what I've seen helping and healing thousands of people in my program, the Hair N' Heal program. The thing is, it's not a one size fits all.

Let me just give you a few examples. I've had clients who are vegan, vegetarian, fruitarians, literally who just only eat fruit, I've had clients who are kosher, halal, who don't eat pork, who only eat beef, who don't eat meat, carnivore diet. I've had somebody who only only eats meat and nothing else. I've had people who are pregnant, I've had people who are diabetic, I've had people who have thyroid issues, PCOS, I've had people who have various different types of hair loss, not just alopecia areata or totalis or universalis. And of course I've had even children who are still breastfeeding do my program.

So the thing is it's diet is going to be tailored to you. I can't express enough how this is done, but it is absolutely 100% tailored to you because it has to be. You know, if you're breastfeeding, let's say you're the child and you're breastfeeding, this is going to look very different than the, you know, 30 or 40 year old who's on a maybe a fruitarian or vegan or vegetarian or kosher or carnivore or paleo or anything else diet. It's going to look so different. And this has to be tailored to each and every one of you. So it can't be a one size fits all.

So that's first and foremost. And you know, those people who say blanket statements: Oh, just do this diet and you're done, just do that diet and you're done. That is not the way to do it. And I've talked about diet many, many times before, because you can see, even, let's say, if we're going to look at weight loss. Let's say, as a whole, everyone knows somebody who's tried to lose weight, right? Including themselves at some point, and guess what? Not every Weight loss approach or weight loss strategy or even weight loss diet helps everybody across the board.

This is why we still have obesity, this is why we still have heart disease. This is why we still have diabetes. This is why we still have so many other situations and health concerns that are related to diet, right? But in this instance with diet It's got to be tailored. It really has to be tailored to you. I actually talk about this in my free training. So if you are interested in a free 49 minute training, I have a quick training for free for you to listen and devour, so you understand the framework of the Alopecia Angel method in order to help you personally to get and achieve those results in less time of hair growth. So link in show notes, by the way, or that free training, if not, you can just come to my website, or if not, you can also email us at [email protected] and we'll go ahead and send you the link to that free training.

But in any case, moving forward, I've had clients who one in particular, let me go ahead and share her story.

She did my program, she's vegan and lo and behold, you know, in the afternoon, she started complaining about her stomach hurting and, you know, I asked her, what do you think it is? Did you journal? Did you write down exactly what you're eating, what you're not eating? Lo and behold, you know, a few days later, she comes back to me, she's like: You know what it was? And I was like: What? She's like: It's the raw carrots that I'm eating every afternoon. Right after I eat them, my stomach begins to hurt. So a raw carrot for you and for me may be very benign, but for her in particular, it was hurting her and causing her stomach pains and discomfort and issues there.

So the thing is, again, this is going to look so different to everybody. That's just the baseline, but then when you start incorporating, let's say allergies or anything else that you have may have already an adverse reaction to, this will also look different. You know, some people have allergies to nuts and seafood and others to, eggs and shellfish and other things.

This is why I have a 11 page intake form. The intake form is critical to your success, I have to really review it and see what's going on, what blind spots I see, so that we can move the needle forward and then also do it in a, you know, more strategic manner to you, towards your diet, towards, you know, seeing what's possible and helping you thrive. Because that's what this is all about. It can't be a one size fits all.

So the diet question is always a good one and I will say that diet seems very simple and it's not. I will also say that the people who've done my program to include nutritionists, clinical nutritionists, dieticians, personal trainers, nurses, pharmacists, functional medicine doctors who've done my program. A lot of times when I look at their diet, It's also has mistakes.

No one has come to the table, no one has come to the program and signed up with a 100% perfect diet. No one has, we all have these blind spots in diet, but we also have them in lifestyle. It's not just one or two. And again, let me just repeat for those of you who are new to me, diet alone will not heal your alopecia diet alone will not heal it.

It's more than that. It's more than diet. And the program is much more than diet. This is why it takes 8 weeks to do, and this is why you have access to it for so much more longer because it's important to, enable you to see and review and to really grasp these concepts because it's not so superficial. Just to say that it's just diet when it's not there's a lot of buckets and a lot of tears within the lifestyle, but even within the diet, it's so important because again, we're trying to regrow your hair and this is what the goal is right to regrow your hair in less time.

So again, if you have any questions or concerns Feel free to message us, email us at [email protected] but then you can also see and review the testimonials and the interviews on our podcast. I look forward to seeing you again next week, and if you have any other questions, please feel free, like and subscribe to our podcast, rate and review it. And I would also let you know that doing the training is worthwhile. It gives you 6 steps to healing and reversing your hair loss in less time.

That free training will give you a better understanding of what this looks like, especially for those of you who are struggling, especially for those of you who are on the fence of joining, especially for those of you who are new or newly diagnosed to alopecia, especially for those of you who are an adult and have a child with alopecia and don't know where to start, don't know where to go. Sometimes you're bombarded with information, so this free training will help clear the air a little bit and give you a better understanding so you stop wasting time and money.

So I hope this is beneficial for you all, let me know in the comments. Thank you so much and take care.
