Joy After Alopecia, Haircut + Brush

Feb 04, 2019
I have always heard the saying "to take joy in the little things" ... and I do! I love a good sunset and marvel at the sky when its filled with stars and appreciate the sun when it comes out each/ most days. However today, exactly today, I felt joy in brushing my hair for the first time.

Granted, I have curly hair, so I can truly only brush when wet... after rinsing out my hair mask, I began to brush my hair. What an amazing feeling! Senses were heightened as I not only felt the thickness of my hair, but also saw that less than 15 hairs were on my brush. In addition, I just got my first hair cut last week, (picture above) which took off around 2 inches of dead straw... hair I was not wanting to give up, hair that was part of my past... the growing pains of alopecia... overcoming such an emotional health ride... and now.. just an unmasked, fruitful bounty of healthy hair.

I wish the same for you. The Chinese have a wonderful proverb: "the best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago, however the next best time to plant a tree is now"

Take action for your health and hair. You can overcome alopecia like I have, and so many others that I have helped. Yes it is possible. You too can see the fruits of your labor. The "winning" feeling is remarkable. Plant your tree now, so that you see fruit on it sooner than later.
