CBD for Alopecia: Friend or Foe?

Jun 07, 2020
CBD has had many good reviews for treating many ailments. However after thorough research I don't think its a miracle product for hairloss. Results in hair growth can be attained without taking this route. Just like any vitamin, topical or protocol, I truly believe it takes much more than one thing alone to heal alopecia. That's why my success rate is over 90% percent, because it targets the whole body, mind and spirit.

Coming back to CBD, I caution the use because it's had its pitfalls too. Many quick store fronts, and brands have come into this "wild west and goldmine" industry of CBD and this industry, much like vitamins, is unregulated.

Meaning, no one is looking at what the label says and no one is making sure that what it says is actually correct. There are many other ingredients in the CBD that can affect your health overall.

This is a problem, because you might want to consume CBD for one thing, and end up with THC (the ingredient that makes you high) in your system. This, depending on the situation can have adverse side effects, think children, think adults, pregnant women, etc.

The way you take CBD is also important.

I had one client who was vaping. And advised to not vape. Vaping is known to be extremely harmful, not only for your lungs, but also because vaping is tied to hairloss as well as any form of smoking!

You want to also stay away from edibles because let's be honest, most likely these edibles are also high in sugar and not healthy to begin with.

Best way to take CBD? Would be tincture, under the tongue.

I don't promote CBD, nor did I consider it for achieving hair growth and reversing my hairloss. Out of all my clients, and Signature Graduates, 90% see results and all without CBD.

CBD does not necessarily treat hairloss. Rather it treats the symptoms and feelings that can go along with it, like depression, anxiety, and insomnia. However did you know, that once you begin to change your diet and lifestyle, all these symptoms go away and lessen dramatically? Yes, my program is holistic, looking at all the pieces of the puzzle.

In two months, clients change 360 degrees. (without the need of CBD or medications)

CBD oil comes from hemp plants which are part of the cannabis family. Again, unregulated, so you don't know what you are getting.

In recent studies conducted by https://cleanlabelproject.org They found:

So potentially, you are getting more than you thought, including plastic, lead, heavy metals, THC, and pesticides.. wow, I wouldn't really want you to go this route nor would I recommend after seeing these results.

Be informed; As my aunt once told me, " not everything that glitters is gold." Don't get wrapped up in the hype... its just media coverage.. there is more to it, and doing your research will empower you to make the right decision.

In addition, the various articles I have read tout CBD topically, as I have already explained in another post, topicals alone won't do it. That's like trying to lose weight without eating healthy food and exercising 3 hours a day. It won't work especially long term.

CBD is still new, and I don't doubt the power of plants, I don't doubt that in the future there is a good possibility of making CBD help many people in various forms of illness, however we also need to consider if the illness is separate or are we simply trying to treat the side effects?

If its a side effect, I highly recommend you get to the root cause and everything else will be alleviated and treated simultaneously, but if you treat the symptom and not root cause, you will be spinning your wheels and not get any traction in true health or hair growth.

See my point?

Regulation needs to happen, because there is also a lot of news coverage about dosing and how that's defined. Dosing can harm you if not done properly. Also, many countries have banned CBD.

Like in anything, quality matters. I've heard and seen horror stories from news outlets about the potential side effects, reactions, and sad outcomes of unregulated CBD and the harm that's caused. I have also read good reviews and seen stories of people who can't live without it...either way, more research is needed and the upside is, its not needed to fully heal and recover from alopecia.
